Villa Asteri
is an old building of natural stone and wood in the village center of Asteri, providing 4 bedrooms.
It is the landlord's birthplace. In 2006 and 2007, it was comprehensively renovated and modernised.
Now it has 4 bathrooms, a whirlpool, a home cinema equipment with a large screen and a satellite receiver, an Internet connection and 5 air conditioning units.

In the gardens there is a 40 square meters swimming pool with a separate paddling-pool, and a barbecue facility with an oven and a grill of stone, and a roofed dining-corner.

Asteri
is a small, peaceful traditional Greek village above the bay of  Rethymnon on the island of Crete. The only business enterprise on the scene is a small taverna which serves as a kafenion as well.
Both the Old and the New National Road from Rethymnon to Iraklion run 1.5 kms north, passing the bigger village of Stavromenos.
There is an hourly public bus service in both directions.

One big and some medium size hotels are between the New National Road and the beach, and during the tourism season a variety of shops and restaurants are open.
